Who, you might ask, is Arlene Nguyen? Here is my story...

You could say, I have been doing hair and makeup for a long time. At a young age, I wanted to make people feel happy about their image. At the age of 9, I learned how to do facial threading from a well known Cosmetologist in my hometown. As time went by, I earned my college degree and majored in Arts and Science. I wanted to work for a company that will help me fulfill my dream of creating art and beautiful images. Fortunately, I found a company that brought me closer to that dream. I was hired as a Quality Control Assistant Manager by Contract Filling, Inc. in New Jersey.

I did quality control and formulated parfum, body mist, deodorant sticks, and cosmetic coloring for many well known cosmetic lines. I feel fortunate to have worked with a line of products that boosted people's sense of confidence. Next, I wanted to make people feel good about their image. To further my education, I worked at various Pharmaceutical companies as an assistant scientist. Pretty soon, I was not content with working in the laboratory with my white lab coat. I decided to relocate to Georgia. I found work as a research and development chemist for a company making aftermarket toners. Even though I enjoyed this job, I always missed having personal interactions with clients. And this is why I do what I do now.

Since my "official" move into the world of image design, I have exposed myself to as much education as possible. I trained and worked in New York, California, and Canada. Back in Atlanta, I spent my time as a makeup artist and hair stylist for weddings and glamour photography. I constantly keep up with the ever changing world of image design. I earned REDKEN Honors and valuable experience in the art of permanent makeup and eyelash extensions.

I'm passionate about what I do and love bringing my talents to work for others. My goal is to bring you to the place you want to be, to span the globe and keep you constantly abreast with the latest in image design. More than that, I want you to be able to see yourself, apart from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, to see yourself and to find who you were meant to be.
